Willie Tucker was born on November 28, 1949, to the late Rosa Lee (Laughlin) Tucker and Willie B. Tucker in Sparta, Georgia.
The lord took Willie’s hand and took him home with him to the heavenly gates on December 4, 2024.
Willie attended Hancock County Public Schools. In the early 90’s Willie worked at the City Water Department before his health decline. Willie loved to talk on the phone and sit on the porch with family and friends. He was always on the go with his buddy Donnie Andrews. If he wasn’t with Donnie, he was somewhere helping Mr. Johnnie Reese.
In addition to his parents, Willie was proceeded in death by his sisters Beulah (Tucker) Johnson, Brena Tucker, and Annie Mae Laughlin, and his brother Marshall Tucker.
Willie is survived by his sister, Elois Tucker of Milledgeville, Georgia Brothers, Milton Tucker of Atlanta, Georgia, and Stanford (Tracey) Tucker of Warner Robin, Georgia; aunt, Rosa Mae Tucker, Mary Dixon, both of Sparta, Georgia; his nieces Angela (Dalfon) Tucker of Sparta, Georgia; Hennietta Glover of Nashville, TN, Jessica Glover of Milledgeville, Georgia, and Bennie Mae Leslie of Thomson, Georgia; nephews, Jesse Glover and Ronrico Tucker of Sparta, Georgia; Tron Driques Tucker and Montrell Tucker, both of Warner Robin, Georgia, and Kimontae Taylor of Sparta, Georgia, great nieces Sha’Kerria (Keandre) Burton of Sparta, Georgia, Nya Battle of Sparta, Georgia, Sh’nyvia Battle of Sparta, Georgia, Zaniyah Glover of Milledgeville, Georgia, Maliya Leslie and Kaylie Leslie of Nashville, TN: great nephews, Ma’Kydun Glover, Kayceon Leslie of Nashville, TN, and Quentavios Leslie of Thomson, Georgia: and his best buddies, Donnie Andrews and Johnnie Reese of Sparta, Georgia and other family and friends.
