Wayne was born on November 13, 1957, in Sparta, Georgia, along with a twin sister, Wylene.
Wayne was blessed with multiple talents. He was very artistic, especially when it came to drawing. He was also a talented trumpet player. He graduated from Hancock Central High in 1975.
He was preceded in life by his parents, Johnny and Iola Scott; sisters, Ora Glover, Ester Holsey, and Brenda Ingram; and brothers, Ralph Scott and John Wesley Scott.
He leaves to mourn: his son, Devotee Goodman; brothers, Melvin Scott (Dorothy) and Larry Scott (Sandra); sisters, Betty Scott, Gloria Delaney (Roy), Rosalyn Scott, Wylene Watkins (Curtis), and Leeann Woods (Robert); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
