Terry Primus Sr. Obituary

Terry Lorenzo Primus Sr. was born on March 21, 1966 in Milledgeville, Ga. to the late Fannie Mae and Levi Primus. He was the 5 th of 6 children.

His uncles and aunt, Harry Worthen, Willie Joseph Worthen, Melvin Worthen, Roger Brown, and Inez Hampton preceded him in death. Also preceded him in death were his brother-in-law Kenneth Tucker, uncle Leo Wheeler, and aunt Kathleen Worthen.

Terry was educated momentarily by Baldwin County School System then later moved to Hancock County where he graduated high school in 1984. After graduating high school, he attended Georgia Military College (GMC) in Milledgeville, Ga. and received an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. After college, he went on to pursue a career with Ga. Department of Correction at Baldwin State Prison before adventuring on to work for KLLM trucking company and Saint Gobain. He worked there for a number of years before returning back to Ga. Department of Correction for Hancock County.

Terry was a member of the Stanton Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, taking trips with family and friends, and fixing things. His passion was fishing, dancing, telling jokes, collecting baseball cards and supporting his kids. During his free time, he enjoyed going to car and bike shows, spending quality time with his brothers and friends, and riding his motorcycle.

Terry, also known as “Mystery Machine” from his work buddies and “Pop Williams” from his daughter; was a very outgoing and loving person by his own standards. He always had something funny to say, and everyone knew that when he came around, he spoke very highly of his kids. Terry was a spirit-filled man who loved God and everyone in his presence.

On, December 16, 2021, God sent an angel to extend an invitation for his good and faithful servant to come home. His giving spirit and good nature will be greatly missed by many.

Terry leaves to cherish his memories to his close friend (ex-wife) Christine Macklin, their loving children, Terry Lorenzo Primus Jr., Shanaquana Lyntrell Primus, Christopher Marquise Stanton, and La’Tessa Shandria Stanton.
