Staff Sergent Tracy Glenn Champion, son of Amy Champion and the late Edward Harris, Sr., was born on July 16, 1969. He grew up in, and loved visiting, his hometown of Sparta, GA. He became a member of the Georgia Army National Guard when he was 17 and remained an active member for over 30 years. During that time, he honorably served our country in places such as Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as several states across our nation. When called upon, he was ready to serve. His dedication to service was second only to his dedication to his family.
Tracy was well known for his generous heart and his warm smile, but he was best known as a great father who loved his kids, Abram and Ravyn. They were the center of his world.
In addition to his children, Abram Champion (Chelsea) and Ravyn Champion, Tracy leaves his wonderful memories to be cherished by: his mom, Amy Champion; two brothers, Edward Harris, Jr. (Linda) and Stacey Champion (Latarsha); dear companion, Chandalier Rivera; several wonderful nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Warren.
