After a season of sickness, God granted her eternal rest. We rejoice in the confident knowledge that she is at peace with her God.
Rosie Lee Williams, affectionately known as “Bee,” was born on May 2, 1941, in Glascock County, Georgia, to the late Robert Lee Grier and Sallie Mae Ivey Grier.
She accepted Christ early in life and was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church, where she sang in the Senior Choir for many years, preparing herself for God’s heavenly choir.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Lula M. Lee, Roy Grier, and Josephine Allen. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Gloria (Otis) Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia, Donald Williams of Crawfordville, Georgia, Geraldine W. Scott of Augusta, Georgia, Annette (Gregory) Johnson of Snellville, Georgia, Kenneth (Bertha) Williams of Warrenton, Georgia, Gino (Keisha) Williams of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Joyce Williams of Lithonia, Georgia; a doting sister, Rosalind (Terry) Engram of Warrenton, Georgia; and a host of grands, great-grands, great-great grands, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
