On May 18, 2022, at midnight, Ronald Donell Bundrage departed his earthly home to be with the Lord. Born on December 18, 1960, he was the fourth of seven siblings born to the late Rozier Jr. and Ethel Mae Bundrage in Sparta, Georgia. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Sandy Run A.M.E. Church in Devereux, Georgia. He graduated in 1978 from Hancock Central High School. He is known by many names such as Ronnie, Ron, Heartbreaker, and Festus.
Ronald was a jack of all trades from factories to the trucking industry. He loved cooking, driving trucks, hanging out with family and friends, horseback riding, fishing, and caring for others.
Ronald was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Bundrage and James Harper; one sister, Annie Lou “Shane” Rubin; and his loving devoted friend, Michita Pinkston Watkins.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Ethel Mae Bundrage of Sparta, Georgia; four beautiful daughters, Santeria (Artes Sr.) Goodman, of Riverdale, Georgia, and Catina (Sanford) Posley, Zion Bundrage, and Shadai Bundrage, all of Sparta, Georgia; two brothers, Ezell (Ruby) Bundrage of Sparta, Georgia, and Michael (Veronica) Bundrage of Eatonton, Georgia; two sisters, Jacqueline (Billy) Warren of Sparta, Georgia, and Debra Rena Cody of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandsons, Jordan Scott of Statesboro, Georgia, Jamaal Scott and Johnathan Posley, both of Sparta, Georgia, and Artes Goodman, Jr., of Riverdale, Georgia; granddaughter, Santrice Posley of Sparta, Georgia; godson, D’Monta Walls of Sparta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
