Robert Ware Neal was born in Warren County, Georgia, on Thursday, September 30, 1954, to his loving parents, Mrs. Mamie Louise Sinkfield and Mr. Louis Sinkfield. As he began departing his earthly life as he knew it, his sunset occurred as the morning sun began to rise on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at his residence in Warren County.
At an early age, Robert joined the Williams Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Mitchell, Georgia, until his health began to fail. He received his childhood education attending the public school system of Warren County, Georgia. As an adult, he worked at Martin Marrietta located in Warrenton, Georgia. He was a dedicated employee until he retired. In his spare time, he enjoyed his family and friends, and fishing.
Those who preceded him in death are his daughter, Cynthia Battle; grandson, Quontavious Battle; stepbrother; Frank Sinkfield; his beloved mother, Mrs. Mamie Louise Sinkfield.
To forever cherish Robert’s precious memories are those who have survived him: special friends, Angela Newton and Phyllis Battle, both of Warrenton, Georgia; five children, Casey Neal, Denisha and Deangelo Kitchens, all of Warrenton, Georgia, Jordan Battle of Thomson, Georgia, Mashander (Kinta) Bundage, and Lenton (Catrina) Collins, both of Charlotte, North Carolina; three stepsisters, Barbara Sinkfield, and Felicia Lewis, both of Thomson, Georgia, and Shelia Clark of Sparta, Georgia; five stepbrothers, Louis, Jr., (Renee) Sinkfield, and Kennth (Emma) Sinkfield, both of Warrenton, Georgia, Dawayne (Diane) Sinkfield of Thomson, Georgia, Timothy (Sherlene) Sinkfield of Saint Stephens Church, Virginia, and Edward (Regina) Sinkfield of Alexandria, Virginia; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
