Robert “Duke” Lee was born on October 18, 1958 to Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Stella Lee in Warrenton, Georgia. He entered into rest on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Augusta Georgia University.

Robert “Duke” Lee was a 1977 graduate of Warren County High School. After graduation, he joined the Army National Guard where he did a tour of duty in Saudia Arabia. He was employed by the State of Georgia in Sparta, Georgia until his health failed.

Robert “Duke” courted and married the love of his life, Denise “Neicy” Erwin, on July 2, 1984.

Robert loved the lord and at an early age was baptized at Greenwood Baptist Church. He later became a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church Male Choir upon its inception in 2015.

He leaves to cherish: a devoted wife Mrs. Denise Lee of Camak, Georgia; a son, Falando (Shawnta) Lee of Warrenton, GA.; a daughter, Monique (Travis) Mathis of Warrenton, GA; five grandchildren, Kamylah Lee of Sparta, GA; Tra’Shad Mathis Warrenton GA.; TaMia Mathis of Warrenton, GA., Quinshayla Battle Gorzavious Hill of Warrenton, GA., one brother, Pastor Tracy Lee of Thomson, GA., four sisters Ann (Freeman) Burnett of Warrenton, GA., Nancy Johnson of Decatur, GA.; Vickie Seals of Warrenton, GA.; Sherry (Ricky) McNair of Warrenton, GA.; one brother-in-law Anthony (Tonya) Erwin of North Augusta, GA.; four sister-in-law Faith Erwin of New York, New York; Yolonda (Samuel) Hill of Camak, GA.; Demetrice Erwin of Fayetteville, GA; Dedra (Luther) Jackson of Dearing, Ga., and a host of aunts uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
