Robert Louis Ingram, son of the late Robert T. Ingram and Katherine Ingram passed this life on January 8, 2021 at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Known as Louis by many, graduated from Hancock Central High School and attended Savannah State college. He joined the United States Army in 1966. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a lifelong member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Katherine, sisters Kathy and Jack.
Bro. Ingram joined Compass Lodge 160 in November 1970. He received his 32⁰ and Royal Arch in 1972. He received his 33⁰ October 9, 1979 in Washington, D.C. being the first of Compass Lodge to do so.
To cherish his memories and quirky sayings are his wife of 50 years Mary, daughters Pamela, Ta-Tanisha, Sara, and son Nigel (Ella) brother Jerold (Jeanette), two grandchildren, Terrance (Detris), Katelyn and great grandson A’Kari. Two brothers-in-law Willie Young and Anthony (Irmastine) Young, sisters-in law Christine (David) Weathers, Freddie H. Young, "He leaves to cherish his legacy, aunts, Gladys Smith, Charity Hunt and Marian Hunt." nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
