Mr. Robert M. Hunt, age 64, answered God’s call on January 22, 2025. Robert was born to his late parents, Tommie L. Hunt and Mertline W. Hunt. He was born and raised in Sparta, Hancock County, Georgia. A place he loved.
Robert attended Hancock Central High School and graduated in 1979. After graduating, he enlisted in the U.S Air Force for three years. Robert “T” loved to help others he encountered. He loved to cook, eat and laugh. His family was his life in so many ways. In the later years of his life he moved to Augusta, Georgia.
He worked at Georgia Power for many years. In fact, he was a “jack of all trades”. If you needed construction work done, a mechanic, a plumber, an electrician, all you had to do was call “T”. He would do it all.
His memories will be cherished by his sisters, Bonnie (David) Warren, his Lil Sister,
Cynthia (James Julius) Watkins, Sr., his only brother, Donald L. Hunt. He had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, Antario R. Wilson, Cornelius A. Warren, James “Jay” Watkins, D’Sean Milner, Eric Hunt, Cynthia S. Robbins, Charissa Hunt, Yameka Hunt, Erin Hunt, Sanaya Warren, Caliyah (GBaby) Taylor; aunts, Annie M. Wilson, Sparta, GA, Clanthia Floyd, Chester, PA, uncles, Richard Hunt and George Hunt both of Sparta, GA, a devoted special friend, Bernadette Caroline and always a friend in time of need, Raymond “Rambo” Hooper,. Robert always shared great concern and love for his cousins and friends.
“You may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts”
