The Life and Legacy of
Patricia Ann “Emp” Jones
To everything there is a season and a reason and a time for every purpose!!
A Time To Be Born
Pat was born June 17, 1956, to the late parentage of Mack and Lucille Jones.
A Time To Plant
Pat was raised in Blue Bottom community and graduated from Sparta High in the class of 1974. While in school, at the age of 14, she started working on NYC. After graduation, she attended the University of Texas. Pat came back home to Georgia and started working at Hancock Memorial Hospital and later was employed by the Hancock County Board of Education for over 20 years, a job that she loved dearly. Pat was a faithful member of New Beulah Baptist Church.
A Time To Love
Pat loved each and every one of her kids to death, as well as her family. Pat loved Christ, who was always the head of her life. She professed her love for Christ and joined the New Beulah Baptist Church at an early age. Working tirelessly in her kitchen, she put most of her love into her cooking.
A Time To Die
God decided, in his infinite wisdom, that it was time to call his angel home, after a job well done and a life well lived; a reward well deserved. Pat was called home, surrounded by her family, on January 6, 2020.
A Time Of Peace
Pat’s life was a trip that we all have to take, if we don’t weaken. She took that trip and lived it fully and faithfully trusting in God. Now she has received her angel wings. May her beautiful spirit live on in the glory of the Lord for all eternity. Pat has three children that she followed in death, Stepforn Sibert II, Garneshia S. Bryant, and Harold Jones, whom she loved and missed dearly.
