Omar Mary Reid

Obituary

Omar Mary Reid, was born May 24, 1924 in Crawfordville, Georgia.  She is the daughter of Omer H. Reid and Cornelia O’Rear Reid.

She was married to Luther Mapp on  Jan 23, 1945 in Crawfordville, Georgia.

Omar Mary had two children Vivian Mapp Protho and Victor Whitehead both preceded her in death.

Omar Mary leaves to cherish her memories, one grandson, Gerald Protho Jr. of Poughkeepsie, New York; two granddaughters, DraShannda Grier, Victoria Shayera Whitehead; one great grandson, Darius Smith; one sister-in-law, Liller V. Reid of Sparta, Georgia. 

A host of nephews, nieces and cousins, and one great nephew, Clinton Reynolds, who faithfully cared for our aunt until her transition.  We thank you and love you from Velma Lee and the Family.
