Ms. Ruby Lee Reese

Ruby Lee Reese was born on September 17, 1947, in Sparta, Georgia. She was the first born child of Robert Jr. and Annie Kate Reese. She lived in Sparta, Georgia, all her life.

In her good health, she was faithful at Hunt’s Chapel A.M.E. Church. She was devoted to her calling as an usher. Whenever the opportunity presented itself, she would tell jokes that left all laughing.

Ruby departed her life on March 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Jr. and Annie Kate Reese; sisters, Hattie Lewis and Brenda Reese; brothers, Johnny Reese and Louis Moore.

Her memories will be cherished by her sisters, Linda Thomas, Juanita Watkins of Sparta, GA, Ethel Reese of Augusta, GA, and Lucy Reese of Atlanta, GA; brother, Eddie Reese (Patrice) of Broken Arrow, OK; two aunts; devoted friend and cousin, Earnestine Evans; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
