Ms. Phyllis Ann Dawson

Phyllis Ann Dawson was born on Monday December 8, 1969. In Thomson Ga to her loving parents Bennie and Shirley Dawson.

Phyllis also known to many as “Goop’ was born a special baby girl weighing two pounds. She was a kindhearted, loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She received her education from the Warren County school system with the class of 1993.

Phyllis was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer in 2022. Phyllis passed away on Friday August 25,2023 at home.Although it seems that Phyllis is gone too soon from our presence, the love she exuded and her wonderful memories shall live forever in our hearts.

Her contagious smile and warm heart could always draw people into her presence. She loved to get her hair and nails done. Whenever you saw Phyllis, her arm and neck was filled with bracelets, rings and necklaces. She loved her jewelry. Her outfits had to match down to her socks. Phyllis loved to color in her coloring books. She also enjoyed listening to her music and watching her cartoons. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

She leaves to cherish her fondest memories to her family. Parents Bennie and Shirley Dawson; her brothers Terry Bly of Thomson GA., Tyrone Bly of Augusta GA, Tony Dawson of Warrenton, GA, and Zadre Gibson of Norwood GA.,  Along with her sisters Robin Wilson and Angela Burley both residents of Warrenton GA., Her four Uncles, George (Diane) Dawson of Louisville GA., Eddie (Charlene) Dawson of Atlanta GA., Charles (Shirley) Bly of Sparta GA., and Jason Bly of Dearing GA.,  five Aunts .Mary (Frank) Ficklin of Warrenton GA., Annie Dawson of Thomson GA., Kathleen Bly of Thomson GA., Bridget Nelson of Thomson GA., and Bonnie Dawson of Norwood GA., one   Brother-in-law Charles Wilson Jr. two Sisters-in*law Trechia Bly of Augusta GA., and Brittany Gibson of Norwood GA, Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and classmates.
