Mildred Moss Wilson was born on December 1, 1936, in Jewell, Georgia, to the late Alvin, Sr., and Carrie Moss. Mildred was the ninth child of ten; eight preceded her in death.
Mildred met and married the late Earnest Wilson and to this union, four children were born; three preceded her in death: Martin Wilson, Larry Wilson, and Adolph Wilson. Mildred was educated in the Warren County School System.
Mildred joined Trinity C.M.E Church at an early age. Mildred and Earnest later moved to Miami, Florida, where she joined Gospel Arena Ministries under Reverend T.G Thompson. She was baptized in Jesus name and received the gift of the holy ghost. Mildred worked various jobs while living there. In 1995, Mildred and Earnest moved back home.
Mildred had many talents: she loved cooking, sewing, watching her favorite TV shows, and doing her puzzle book. Mildred reunited with Trinity C.M.E in Sparta, Georgia, and was a stewardesses.
On Sunday evening August 9, 2020, God called his beloved angel home. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: a son, Jeffery Wilson (Tammi); grandchildren, Martin Wilson of Miami, FL, Ebony Shivers, Shomaneeka, Shambrika, Allecia Wilson of Warrenton, GA, Corey Shivers of Atlanta, GA, and Jefftavious Wilson of Sparta, GA; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Louise Dawson of Detroit, Michigan; a daughter-in-law, Mary Wilson of Warrenton, GA; six sisters-in-law, Annette Rolle, Carolyn Gilbert (Fred), Margaret Poole, May Wilson of Miami, FL, Sunbeam Wilson of Warrenton, GA, and Mammie Kate Moss of Macon, GA; two brothers-in-law, Lorenzo Wilson (Lorraine) of Grovetown, GA, and HB Wilson of Miami, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
