~Remembering Dora~
Ms. Dora Mae Tilley was born on October 16, 1928 to the late Mrs. Johnnie C. Tilley and Deacon Willie Tilley.
She joined St Galilee Baptist Church at an early age. During her teenage years, she moved to St. Louis Missouri to live with her Uncle Jack Smith. Dora and Charlie Martin were proud parents of one beloved son, Charles Michael Tilley.
Dora was employed by the Federal Government as a Cleaning Crew Supervisor until her retirement. Dora enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She traveled extensively and always recounted fond memories of her travel adventures.
She departed her earthly home on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Delmar Garden North, St. Louis, Missouri.
Dora was preceded in death by Johnnie Lee and Willie L. Tilley, Sara Tilley, Alma Harris, Cora Reynolds and willie Tilley.
Her memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of her brother, Howard Tilley, Atlanta, Georgia; her two sisters, Stella Sams, Cortland, New York and Elma Harper, Sparta, Georgia, a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
