On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, Ms. Deborah Edith Lucas, affectionately called " Deborah Gal" made her peaceful transition in the comfort of her home in Norwood, Georgia.
"Deborah Gal" was born on February 25, 1971, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnny and Mary Lucas in Augusta, Georgia. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Ms. Carrie Lucas, a brother, Mr. Mareando Moss, and nephews Santavis Lucas, and Kwentrell Moss.
Deborah Gal" was loved by all that had the privilege of being in her presence. Born with Cerebral Palsy, she was truly a miracle and surpassed many milestones in her life. Her infectious smile would let you know if she liked something or is she didn't.
Loved ones she leaves to cherish her unforgettable memories: her devoted aunt and uncle Mrs. Bonnie Moss and Mr. Raymond Lucas of Norwood, Georgia. Her loving brothers Mr. Anthony (Tina) Lucas of Norwood, Georgia, Mr. Antonio (Sawanda) Lucas of Thomson, Georgia and Mr. Roderick (Fredericka) Mos of Warrenton, Georgia, a devoted sister Ms. Jameesa Lucas of Warrenton, Georgia, six nieces, four nephews and two great nieces. Her devoted caretakers Johnnie Mae Howard, Loretta Moss, Ms. Cathy Neal, Mrs. Carrie Lucas, Ms. Doris Clark and the late Dorothy Jones and Tammie Lemons. A host of other faithful family members who will forever cherish her memory.
