“A woman who has been a provider to family and friends, willing to give a helping hand, one who always voiced her opinion has been picked to be in the “Garden of Roses.”
On May 28, 1956 a flower named Ms. Christine Neal Kuhn bloomed. Christine is the daughter of the late John Henry Neal and Mary Catherine Scott Neal; raised by the late Willie E. Latimer and Lizzie P. Latimer.
Christine was a graduate of Glascock County Consolidated Schools. She was employed at the school and later at the Warrenton Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Christine joined Sandy Grove Baptist Church at an early age. She was a servant to the Lord in Christ. She attended church services faithfully and was always willing to go listen to the word.
Christine was preceded in death by her siblings: Marie Tucker and Lamar Neal; half-brothers: Barry Brown and Willie B. Cullars.
Christine leaves her memories to her two daughters: Shawn Kuhn and Shante’ Kuhn of Warrenton; godson: Christopher Latimer of Warrenton, GA; brothers: James Neal and John (Sarah)Neal of Mitchell, GA; Lorenzo Latimer of Warrenton, GA; David(Antoinette)Latimer of Augusta; Jimmie(Bonita)Latimer of Warrenton, GA; sisters: Daisy Ruth(Wyman)Murray of Mitchell, GA; Betty(Robert)Burns of Warrenton, GA; and Sue Latimer of Mitchell, GA; five grandchildren: Quininshea, Quiseonna, Ja’Shanti, Ja’Keria, and Jamari all of Warrenton, GA; and granddaughter: Ca’Miyah Dream Bolton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. And to her wonderful “Ladies” you all meant a lot to her; to the conversation on the telephone, to going on trips and car rides, to bringing her meals, spending time, and just making wonderful memories: Mattie Grant, Phyllis Williams, Vickie Grier, Earnestine Johnson, Tonia Merriweather, Sunbeam Wilson, Brenda Rivers, Joanne Wiley, Mildred Lane, and Brenda Rivers you all meant a lot to her.
