Mrs. Zillie Saffo

Mrs. Zillie Mae Saffo was born on May 31, 1949, in Warrenton, Georgia to the late Mr. Robert Williams, Sr. and Mrs. Mary H. Williams.  She departed this life on Friday, April 3, 2020 at her place of residence in Augusta, Georgia.

Mrs. Saffo was married to the late Mr. James Saffo, Sr. and to this union ten children were born.  Two children and one brother, Eddie Williams, Sr. preceded her in death.

Mrs. Saffo was a devoted and loving person who loved her children and family very much.  Her favorite colors are black and red, and she loved to wear her sunglasses.

Mrs. Saffo leaves to cherish her memories, six daughters, Daisy Williams, Anna Dixon, Annette Foster, Betty Saffo, Rosanna Saffo and Dorothy Saffo all of Augusta, Georgia; two sons, James Saffo, Jr., and Isaiah Saffo both of Augusta, Georgia; two sisters, Nellie Mae Williams of Warrenton, Georgia, Mary Alice (James) Jackson of Norwood, Georgia; four brothers, Billy Williams of Augusta, Georgia, Tommy (Roberta) Williams of Thomson, Georgia, Robert (Mary L.) Williams of Warrenton,  Georgia  and Andre’ Williams of Augusta, Georgia; three aunts, Clarisse Roberts, Grace Walker both of Jacksonville, Florida, Eula Mosley of Boston, Massachusetts; three uncles, Ashbury Walker of Jacksonville, Florida, Joshua Walker and Moses Walker of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; thirty-six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
