Missionary Pauline Lamar was born August 6, 1938 in Sparta, Hancock County, Georgia. She was one of ten children born to the union of the late Mr. James and Mabel Dixon. She
was a faithful member of Wilkes Memorial Church of God in Christ in Warrenton, Georgia. Pauline leaves a legacy of love to her family, Earnest Lamar, Jr. (Barbara) of Sparta, Georgia, Peggy Lamar of Augusta, Georgia, Mack Lamar of Sparta, Georgia, Mary Lamar of Covington, Georgia, Angela Barnes (Bernard) of Grayson, Georgia, Bernadette Lamar of Sparta, Georgia, Michelle Lamar of Stockbridge, Georgia, and Brian Lamar (Teiyonna) of Colorado Springs, CO; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; four surviving siblings and five preceded her in death; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
