Mildred, affectionately known as Pig, was born on April 8, 1939 in Hancock County, Sparta, GA. She grew up in a large and loving family whom she loved dearly.
She attended school in the Hancock County Public School System before beginning her career with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department. Mildred met and married the love of her life, Billy Boyer, and dedicated her time and energy to their business, Boyer’s Country Store and Deer Processing.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Boyer; parents, Mary and Perry Lee Foster, Sr. and siblings, Perry Lee Foster, Jr., Jessie Williams, Mary Alice Webber, Mary Lizzie Foster, Mary Alma Cummings and Anderson Foster.
“Pig” leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Eric Smith; brothers, Arthur (Joyce) Foster, Walter Foster, Sammy (Catherine) Foster, Jimmy Foster and Michael Wade; sisters, Susie (Charlie) Culver, Julia Foster-Ingram and Delois Foster-Bell; uncle, J.T. Williams; aunts, Rose Cuz and Wilhemenia Christian; brother-in-law, Edward James Webber; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
