Mrs. Lillie Mae Wilson was given to this world on July 19, 1929. She was the oldest child of the late Johnnie and Elvira Oliver. On December 7, 2018, the Lord called his faithful servant home for a well earned rest.
She joined the New Hope Powelton Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully until her health would not allow her to attend services.
In 1948, she united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Horace Wilson, who preceded her in death. To this union four children were born. One child, Charlie Wilson, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her fondest memories, three children; Michael (Joann) Wilson, Diane (Leon) Mapp, and Shirley (Charles) Bly, all of Sparta, GA; one brother, Author Oliver, Macon, GA; one sister-in-law, Annie Mae Wilson, Sparta, GA; three nieces, Mary Oliver (Danny) Strickland, Joann (Ronald) Ford, both of Atlanta, GA and Evelyn (Felton) Holmes, Macon, GA, fourteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
Services entrusted to Dawson’s Mortuary – 98 Hopgood Street, Warrenton, GA.
