Mrs. Ella "Vanessa" Hill

The family will have a private burial service  to honor the life of Mrs. Ella Vernesia Hill

Mrs. Ella Vernesia Hill affectionately known as “Vanessa” was born August 21, 1953 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the late Tommy Hill Sr.  and Justine Hill. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a member of New Beulah Baptist Church in Sparta, Georgia. In 2018, she became a member of Apostolic Faith Kingdom Ministries.

Vanessa was married to the love of her life on October 12, 1975, and to this union three children ware born.

Vanessa had a great passion for sewing and loving on kids. She was employed at the Hancock Memorial Hospital before following one of her passions. In the early 1990’s she established ownership of Hill’s Quality Cleaners in Sparta, Georgia. After years of serving the public Vanessa decided it was time to explore her love for kids. She became a teacher for the Hancock County School system, which she remained until retiring in 2019.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Josephine Cawthorne and brother, Tommy Hill Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 43 years Raymond Hill Sr.: two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hill Jr. (Trinee), Mr. and Mrs. Rico Hill (Aisha); and one daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Crystal Hill- Ransom (Tarvares), all of Sparta, Georgia; two sisters, Helen Hill-Oneal and Barbara Andrews (Leroy); five brothers, Larry Hill Sr. (Cathy), Billy Hill, Bobby Hill (Veronica), Ricky Hill (Beverly) and George Hill all of Milledgeville, Georgia; four grandsons; Jawaun Hill, Rishod Hill, Rhyan Hill, and Cameron Hill; three granddaughters, Taniyah Ransom, Aniy Hill and Morgan Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relative and friends.
