Edith Gilliam Hill of 450 Oak Street Warrenton, GA. was born on January 22, 1939 in Warren County, to the late Henry & Emma Lou Gilliam of Warrenton, GA.

She was educated through the Warren County Scholl System. She joined New Salem Baptist Church at an early age. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife who enjoyed her occupation in Housekeeping and Home Health care.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Willie E. Hill, brother Henry Gilliam Jr., and a sister Helen Glover.

Edith’s memories will be cherished by her seven children Jacquelin Bell, Julie Gilliam (Josh), Mildred Gilliam, Donald Gilliam, Teresa (Jimmy) and Mark Hill of Warrenton, GA., and Jerry Gilliam (Yvonne) of Warner Robins, GA., two sisters Marion Lawson of Hiram, GA., and Ernestine Jackson (Andrew) Roosevelt, NY., two sister in laws Juanita Hill Warrenton, GA., and Mary Jane Ivey Augusta, GA. one brother in law Jimmy Hill (Josephine) Thomson, GA.,  ten grandchildren fifteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
