Carrie Louise Moss Yarbrough was born in Jewell, Georgia on March 10, 1959, to the late Alvin & Mable Hill Moss, Jr.
She met and married Hubert Yarbrough on December 11, 2004. She entered Heaven's Gates on Sunday, June 12, 2022.
Carrie was a consummate mother, wife, and grandmother. She graduated from Warrenton County High School in 1977. Professionally, she was a Certified Food Service Supervisor for the Department of Corrections. She was also gainfully employed at Central State Hospital and John Doe Green House.
Carrie had unwavering faith in God. At an early age, she joined the Union Baptist Church of Mayfield, Georgia. She tlater joined the Trinity C.M.E. Church where she was a faithful member having served on the Usher Board, Stewardess, and Missionary Board. She was a faithful member.
Carrie is survived by her husband, Hubert Yarbrough, of Jewell, Georgia; two children, Antonio Terrell (Lavina) Moss of Douglasville, GA, Cameron I. Giles of Milledgeville, GA; six grandchildren, Datren Bray, Keon Brookins, Nasir Giles, Aidan Moss, Laci Brooks & Laila Giles; siblings, Doris (Ed) Chapple of Cincinnati, Ohio, Beatrice “Sally” (Lucious) Hawkins and Burnestine “Bonnie” Charleston of Sparta, GA, Elizabeth “ChrisAnn” (John) Hunter, Anderson, SC, Phyllis Moss and Pamela Moss, both of Jewell, GA, Brenda Moss of Decatur, GA, Willie (Connie) Moss of Stapleton, GA; five stepchildren, Kenya Yarbrough of Valdosta, GA, Denise Reese, Donald (Pam) Reese of Milledgeville, GA, Craig Yarbrough of Decatur, GA, Calvin (Dena) Spence of Florida; one aunt, Louise Dawson of Detroit, MI; a special cousin, Betty Hill of Sparta, GA; goddaughter, Nicole Reese of Sparta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; including dear friends, Gloria Stephen, Avis Major, Patsy McCall, and Betty Monday
