On Monday October 16, 2017, Anita Hightower's family circle was broken when she departed this life at Lake Crossing Nursing Home in Appling GA, in the care of hospice. Anita passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Anita was born December 20, 1953 in Warren County to the parentage of the late  Russell Jackson and Ada Bell Walker.

Anita was preceded in death by her father Russell Jackson; mother, Ada Bell Walker: brother, Bobby Jackson; sister, Sandra Jackson and niece Royslin Johnson.

Anita united in holy matrimony on August 9, 1996 to Willie Pete Hightower.

Anita  leave to cherish her memory, a close friend, Billy Winfrey: six children: grandchildren, and a host of, nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
