Willie Lee (Bill) Horton was born February 9, 1934 to the late Joe and Josie Lee Clark Horton in Sparta, Georgia. At an early age he joined the New Beulah Baptist Church.

Bill married Dorothy Mae Lawson January 11, 1958. To this union 6 girls was born.

Bill was preceded in death by two siblings, J.C. Horton and Phyllis Horton Dixon

Bill love to help everyone he could around and out of the neighborhood. He didn’t mind telling you how he felt about you and he spoke his mind. He was a father figure to many. He love to go to the basketball games

He leaves to cherish precious memories, a loving and devoted wife Dorothy Mae Horton, seven daughters Linda (Jarell) Wright, Alberta Horton, Jennifer (Eugene) Harris, Willie Mae Horton, Christine Horton, Arnita (Mark) Randall and Betty Jean Heath. Seven grandchildren: JaRell (Shericka) Wright, Marcavious Randall, Rodricks Heath, Tomika (Bryant) Heath, Mickey Heath, Calvin Heath and Kelvin Heath, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. One sister Dorothy Mae Lamar, one sister –in-law Julia Mae Lawson, three brother-in-law, Harvey Grant, Odell Williams and Benjamin (Sharon) Lawson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friends, Bernard Reynolds, Susie Alexander, Lester Reid, Jackie Walker and Kambiri Holsey.
