Celebrating the life of Tyrone Patrick Davis

Tuesday, February 17.2026 Tyrone Patrick, affectionately known as “Wouk” departed this life at his home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tommie Sr. and Martha Ingram, and his uncle John “Bubba” Ingram
Tyrone Patrick Davis was born on September 12, 1972, to the parents of Charles and Johnnie Davis and Johnny Birston (Gloria). Tyrone attended Hancock County School Systems and graduated in 1991. Shortly after graduating, he attended Central Georgia Technical College and earned a degree in Carpentry. He then gained employment with Rheem Manufacturing and worked until its closure. Tyrone attended Central Georgia Technical College once again and obtained his Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology while employed at Milledgeville Joint and Bone Specialist. After five years, Tyrone gained employment with Atrium Health Baldwin, where he worked faithfully until his health declined.
Tyrone accepted Christ at an early age and joined Hunts Chapel, AME. On September 21, 2002, Tyrone was united in holy matrimony to Ursula Walker. And to this union, two children were born, Tylan and Ashton.
He was a devoted father, husband, and friend who found his joy in caring for his family, vacationing, working on cars, especially race cars, and going to the racetrack.
He was survived by his beloved wife, Ursula Davis, of 23 years, his son Tylan Davis, Swainsboro, Georgia, and Ashton Davis, Milledgeville, Georgia. Sister Crystal Lawrence (James), Sparta Georgia, Brother John Birston, Sparta Georgia, Mother-in-law Alma Walker, McIntyre, Georgia, uncles Tommie Ingram Jr, David Ingram, Linton Birston Jr (Mattie), J.T. Birston, George Birston (Jeanette),all of Sparta, Georgia, an Aunt, Mattie Travis (Drayton) Indiana, Indianapolis, Sisters-N-Law, Betty Walker McIntyre, Georgia, Beverly Walker, Milledgeville, Georgia, and Verna Coats, McIntyre, Georgia. Brothers-N-Law Clark Walker (Lois), Milledgeville, Georgia, Phillip Walker, McIntyre, Georgia, and Tracy Walker (Larnell), Augusta, Georgia. Godsons, Logan and Ethan Hawkins. A host of nieces. Nephews, cousins, and friends. Devoted friends Celina Balcos, LaTaunya Jarrette, LeRon Hawkins, Eugenia Lewis, Yolanda Foster, Kelvin Lawrence, Cedric Adams, Kenneth Morgan, and Terry Scott. A mentor to Jeremi Pearson.
