Mr. Larry Wilson

For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. Romans 14:8

 Larry was born on February 10, 1958, to two loving parents, the late Earnest Wilson and Mildred Wilson. He was born the second of four children; two preceded him in death, Martin Wilson, and Adolph Wilson.

Larry attended the Miami-Dade Public School System. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed at HP Pelzer.

Larry was a man of few words, but he had a heart of gold. Larry was a sports fanatic and a die-hard Miami Dolphins Fan. He also loved working outside doing his yardwork.

On Sunday morning, July 26, 2020, God called one of his beloved sons’ home to rest. Larry leaves many fond memories for his loved ones to cherish and always keep close to their hearts: a loving daughter, Ebony Shivers of Warrenton, GA; a devoted son, Corey D. Shivers of Atlanta, GA; a devoted and loving mother, Mildred Wilson of Warrenton, GA; a brother, Jeffery Wilson (Tammi) of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Laquana Stuckey and Shameka Wilson, both of Miami, FL; seven aunts, Louise Smith of Detroit, MI, Annette Rolle, Carolyn Gilbert (Fred), Margaret Poole, May Wilson of Miami, FL, Sunbeam Wilson of Warrenton, GA, and Mammie Kate Moss of Macon, GA; two uncles, Lorenzo Wilson (Lorraine) of Grovetown GA, and H.B. Wilson of Miami, FL; a sister-in-law, Mary Wilson of Warrenton, GA; two nephews; three nieces; a loving and devoted mother to his children, Willadeen Shivers; a bonus daughter, Chantea Jenkins (Greg); and a host of cousins and friend.
