Eric Lee Walker was born on July 27, 1977 to the late Harmon Lee Walker and Ophelia Walker. He departed this life on July 31, 2020.
He joined the Hickory Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He graduated from Hancock Central High School in 1996. He loved his children, loved to cook, enjoyed watching movies and listening to music, and he was definitely a social butterfly. He was a great writer (Essay/Resumes) and he could create stories that could make you laugh, think, and cry.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harmon L. Walker; his sister, Tarneisha L. Walker; his only nephew, Santonio R. Roberts; and his grandfather, Louis Tucker.
He leaves to cherish his memories: three children, daughter, Makayla Ke’Erica Walker, sons, Eric Le’Vontay Walker (both by Lawanda Shaneke Clarke) and Nasir Zephinah Walker (by Ciji Lundy); his mother, Ophelia Walker; sister, Belissa Roberts; two grandmothers, Mary R. Fluellen and Alice Tucker; three aunties, Rubie E. (Jimmie) Hargrove, Annette (Nathan) Lawrence, and Eva Mae Edwards; one niece, Bre’anna LeShon Simon; three great-aunties, Dorothy Harris, Joyce Walker Rhodes, and Linda Walker Lewis; one great-uncle, David Walker; and a host of cousins and friends.
