Donald Gilliam was born on January 16, 1962 in Warren County to the late Edith Hill and Kenneth Cheeley.. He received his education from Warren County School System.
Donald was employed by Pullium Lumber Company until his health failed.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Gilliam; his mother, Edith Hill; stepfather, Willie Hill; father, Kenneth Cheeley; and brother, Mario Cheeley; stepmother, Ann Cheeley.
Donald leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Marian Congo; two, Manguell Ivey and Bettina Ivey; sisters, Jacqueline Bell of Warrenton, GA, Julie Gilliam (Joshua) of Warrenton, GA, and Teresa Berry (Jimmy) of Warrenton, GA; brothers, Jerry Gilliam (Yvonne) of Warner Robins, GA, and Mark Hill (Samantha) of Augusta, GA, Orrin Cheeley of Decatur, GA; loving aunts and uncles, Marion Lawson of Atlanta, GA, and Earnestine Jackson (Andrew) of Roosevelt, New York, Shirley Cheeley and Tempie Moore of Warrenton, GA, Willie Otis Cheeley and David Worthy of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives; a special friend, Sandra Jackson; friend, Fred Cummings.
