Mozellar Ruff was born February 25, 1939, in Gibson, Glascock County, GA, to the late Idie and Willie Mae Ruff. She got her early education in the Glascock County School System.
At an early age, she joined Stamp Branch Baptist Church, where she served as an Honorary Usher until her health failed. She was a faithful employee of Gibson Rehabilitation Facility until retirement.
Mozellar had one son to precede her in death as a baby, Gary Ruff, as well as one sister and five brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four sons: Roger Ruff, Willie Roy Ruff, and Fredrick Ruff of Gibson, GA, and John Ruff of Warrenton, GA; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; three nieces, Mary Rhodes of Warrenton, GA, Nancy Thomas of Gibson, GA, and Evangeline Pinkston-Thomas; three nephews: Ray Pinkston of Thomson, GA, and Gerald and Anthony Pinkston of Warrenton, GA; and a host of great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
