Mrs. Lula Francis Williams was born October 18, 1919 to Mr. Willie Harris and Mrs. Gladys Battle Harris. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a faithful member of Greenwood Baptist Church, where she was an usher for many years.
Throughout her life, Lula (Aunt Frank), cherished her family and friends and would help others whenever she could. She leaves a legacy of love, laughter and great cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband Garnett Williams, her parents Willie and Gladys Harris, her siblings Minnie Harris and James Harris, and her adored nephew Willie James Allen.
Lula was called to eternal rest on August 24, 2018. Precious memories are left to those that survive her: three step children, Jeannette Williams, Janice Williams and Teresa Williams; sister-in-law Mrs. Doretha (James) Harris of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; niece Josephine (Willie James) Allen of Norwood, Georgia; nephew Larry Williams of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a dear friend Ms. Bobbie Edwards of Crawfordville, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
