Leroy Wilson Jr.

Leroy Wilson Jr., was born on October 7, 1965, in Augusta, Georgia, to Ella Wilson and the late Leroy Wilson Sr. He peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Leroy was a proud graduate of Hancock Central High School, Class of 1982. After graduation, he honorably enlisted in the United States Army, where he faithfully served for four years.

Following his military service, Leroy held a variety of jobs throughout his life, but his true passion was always cooking. He loved being in the kitchen and was known as an exceptional cook whose meals brought family and friends together. Whether at holidays, family gatherings, or just because, Leroy had a way of making every meal feel special. Beyond his cooking, he was known as the life of the party—full of humor, energy, and a spirit that made everyone around him feel welcome and loved.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving mother, Ella Wilson; Special friend Maggie Harris; two daughters, Shonte’ Wilson & Crystal Ingram; his son, Leroy Wilson III; grandchildren, Harmoni, Jaxon;  Justin, Kenya, Christian, and Christopher,  two sisters, Nanette Madden and Yolanda McCrary (Timothy McCrary); two brothers, Bryant Wilson and Michael Wilson; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever treasure the love and joy he brought into their lives.

Leroy’s memory will live on through the laughter he shared, the meals he lovingly prepared, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
