Leroi Ahman Watkins

Leroi "Froi" Watkins 42 of Sparta, Georgia, passed away suddenly and unexpectantly, on Thursday January 13,2022 at Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville, in Jacksonville, FL.

Leroi was born in Augusta, Georgia. to the late Valerie L. Watkins and Leroy Thomas, on September 29, 1979.

 Froi, attended Hancock Central High School and graduated with the class of 1998. He was a talented athlete, and basketball was a sport that he truly enjoyed, he also had a passion for race cars, and cooking. Leroi was a loving family man and a proud father of five beautiful children.

He was a former 5-star employee at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel for many years. During that time, he had met, and was loved by so many people.

Leroi had an awesome personality and was a pleasure to be around. He was driven and very ambitious. He had the ability to make people laugh with his infectious sense of humor. At any given moment and time, if anyone was going through or just needed general conversation, he knew just what to say. Overall, he was a stand-up guy.

He was preceded in death by his mother Valerie L. Watkins and his grandmother Marie I. Watkins.

Leroi is survived by his father Leroy Thomas of Sparta, Georgia. He leaves to cherish his children: Javyn, Braylon, Jorden, Havyn, and J'Halie. The mothers of his children: Maya Barnes & Jasmine Lundy. His seven siblings: Tamari (Latoya) Watkins, Devony Thomas, Marcellus (Tamea) Thomas, Pertrinia A.Roach, Recardo (Akellah)Hunt, Candra Y. Thomas, and Yo'Rel I. Thomas. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and close friend.
