On Monday, February 27, 2017, Leonzia (LEBO) Walker peacefully transitioned from this earthly plain into eternity. This transition took place at his residence. He was surrounded by loving family members.

He was born in Glascock County, GA on April 16, 1941 to Earnest and Eloise
Walker. They preceded him in death as did one of his siblings, Annie Pearl Battle.

Returning to GA after residing in New York, BO worked for over a decade with Gillom’s Construction.  He was an avid car enthusiast with exceptional skills in mechanics and before his health began to fail, he could often be found sharing this passion with his beloved nephew, Rick Walker. Bo loved wearing caps and owned an impressive collection. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and patriarch to his siblings and their families.

A man full of wisdom and honesty, Lebo was loved and respected by those whose lives he touched. He will be greatly missed by many.

Memories will be forever cherished by his wife of 23 years, Paulette Walker; four daughters, Wanda Stewart, Thomson, GA; Linda Middleton, Rochester, N.Y. ; Latasha Walker, New Orleans, LA ; Mary (Adolph) Wilson, Warrenton, GA. One son; Alonzo (Martina) Walker, Merklingen, Germany. Step-children, Tiffany Carroll and Samuel Carroll III, both of Atlanta, GA; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; six sisters: Estelle Battle, Jannie Walker, Elizabeth (James) Lowe; Ruby Mae (Leroy Brinson) Walker, and Jeanette Walker all of Warrenton, GA and Betty (Freddie) Robertson, Augusta, GA; four brothers: Earnest (Revera) Walker, Jr; Willie C. (Sarah) Walker; Kenneth Walker all of Rochester, NY, and E.H. (Denice) Walker, Warrenton, GA. and a host of nieces and nephews. Many sorrowing friends include one who was also like a son, his neighbor, Anthony “E.C.” Fowler.
