On August 8, 1974, God blessed Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Clarke and the late Mr. Leon Clarke with a Sickie Cell Warrior, Mr. Leon Andre Clarke aka Pina (Black). He was a man that loved his family and believed in loyalty amongst his family and friends.
Mr. Leon Clarke received his formal education at Hancock Central High School in Sparta, Georgia. As a man of good faith. Leon accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age was united with New Beulah Baptist Church.
On Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the age of 48. God recalled a great battle-tested Warrior, Mr. Leon Andre Clarke, and he answered His call with vigor and joy crossing his final bridge into Glory. Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” reminds us that although we are deeply saddened by the loss of our loved one, the Lord will bless us with peace and comfort during our time of mourning.
Mr. Leon Andre Clarke leaves his everlasting memories to be cherished in the hearts of his two daughters, Andrea Delania Clarke and Aiyanna Nashon Clarke; granddaughter, Ky’Lynn Marie Murry; grandmothers, Mattie Mayweather and Marie Clarke; older brother, Montee Tywonne Mayweather; sister, Lawanda Shaneke Clarke; two nephews, Montee Tywonne Washington, and Eric Le’Vontay Walker; one niece, Makayla Ke’Erica Walker; two great nephews, Bronx Washington, and Kartier (Goldie) Walker (Griffin); uncles, Steven (Aketi) Mayweather, James Mayweather, and Charles (Sharee) Clarke; aunts, Mattie Lawrence, Shirley Strawter, Williemae (Marvin) Leslie, Patricia Williams, and Alisa Ross; and special friend, Tywanna Brookins, he also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss him dearly.
