The life of a wonderful woman and friend answered the call of God from labor to reward early Thursday morning, April 18, 2019 at the University Hospital in Thomson, McDuffie County, Georgia.
Mrs. Lenora Hampton was born on June 24, 1925 to the late Mr. Eddie Armstrong and Mrs. Ora Bell Armstrong.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Tidous Hampton.
They later moved to Atlanta, Georgia. She retired from Dekalb County Schools in Atlanta, Georgia.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two devoted nieces, Edith (Fred) Blount and Bonnie Moss of Warrenton, Georgia; two stepsons, Nathaniel (Leola) Heath of Riverdale, Georgia and Tyler (Lizzie) Dawson of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Willie Mae Elerbee of Knoxville, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins and friends.
