Johnny Flournoy Grant, 45, of Augusta, GA passed from his life to eternal life on February 20, 2020 at University Hospital of Augusta, GA.
Johnny was born in Warrenton, GA on November 3rd, 1974 to Helen Grant Battle and the late Johnny C. Yarbough. He attended Warren County High School Class of 93.
Johnny also known to his family as “Blousey,” loved making others laugh and wore a smile on his face. His favorite color was blue. He enjoyed dancing and listening to music. His favorite dance song and dance was the Humpty Dance by Digital Underground. “Blousey” loved spending time with family. He was such a loving and caring person. “To know him was to love him.” He was one of the kindest and loving people you could ever meet.
He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny C. Yarbough and his grandmother Katie Yarbough.
Johnny leaves to cherish his loving memory, his mother, Helen Grant Battle; his four sisters, Salonda Grant, Jennifer Grant Harris, Sheila Grant, Helen Freeman; his three brothers, Quientin Grant, Malcolm Grant, Marcus Grant; two brothers-in-law, James “Bo” Harris and Demariess Smalley; his caregiver, Cynthia Dorsey and family; his aunt Alberta (Clinton) Rogers; his nieces, Valerie Grant Freeman, Tyeisha (Eric) Battle, Denisha Tanksley, Briana Adams, Quentyra Grant, D’Jaylia Jones, Jahmaria Harris, Miya Grant, Ty’Asia Grant, Chloe Freeman; his nephews, Patrick Grant Walker, Demetris (Mahari) Freeman, Devonte Hudson, Ry’Quan Adams, Maliki Grant, Derrekus Jones and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Johnny will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
