Mr. Johnny Alexander was born on September 22, 1958, in Greene County to the late William Alexander, Jr. and Mattie Alexander. He departed this life on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at home. Knowing each other for over 20 years, he married Debra (Wilson) Alexander in December 2012.
Johnny was educated in the Greene County School System, graduating in 1978. He gave his life to Christ at a young age and eventually became a deacon. Johnny retired twice. He worked at Universal Rundle for 30 years as a truck driver. He then worked at Georgia Pacific for 12 years.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, William Alexander, Jr. and brothers, Randy Alexander and William Alexander.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Debra Alexander; two daughters, Tenisha Hull and Shaveria Hall; two sons, JeAnthony (Pychia) Alxander and Stedman Hall; his mother, Mattie Alexander; five sisters, Teressa (Darrell)Evans, Elaine Jackson, Kim (James) Hudson, Shayla (Marvin) Lawrence, and Natasha Brown; two brothers, Lindsey Alexander and Rodney (Deckie) Alexander; two sisters-in-law, Eileen Willis and Valerie (Alfornia) Moss; three brothers-in-law, Charlie C. Wilson, Henry Lee (Mary) Wilson, and Allen (Sakeenah) Wilson; 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; Best friends, Maverick Nesbitt, Terry Harris, Greg Brown, and Roscoe Haynes; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this time of bereavement.
