Jamie Tolbert

"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning "

 Jamie Lee Tolbert was born on August 27,1968 to the late Mr.& Mrs. Arthur Lee Tolbert. He departed this life on Friday, July 29,2022 at Piedmont Augusta in Augusta, Georgia. 

Jamie was the youngest of five siblings.

He joined the Greenwood Baptist Church at an early age. 

Affectionately, he is known to family and friends as "J. T", he attended the Warren County Public Schools. 

In his earlier years, he was employed at Gunn's Dairy in Warrenton, Ga, International Paper in Washington, Wilkes, and Advanced Warehouse in Thomson, Ga. 

Jamie was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Arthur Lee Tolbert, and Mrs. Ida Mae Tolbert, and one brother, Ronnie Tolbert. 

Jamie always had a very special bond with his friends. And he enjoyed being surrounded by his family. 

His favorite saying "I'm Gucci ".

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, a loving daughter, Jamyea Tolbert and a loving son, Mykevias Tolbert, both of Warrenton, Georgia; a sister, Deborah Tolbert, of Norwood, Georgia; two brothers, Arthur Lee Tolbert and David Tolbert, both of Warrenton, Georgia; two sisters-in-law; Angela Tolbert of Warrenton, Georgia and Marie Tolbert of Washington, Wilkes; Three aunts, Addie Tanksley of Warrenton, Georgia; Lee Ann Tolbert and Alice Tolbert of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren; Kaidyn Tolbert, A'Mryi Tolbert, and Major Tolbert; a special friend, Christine Horton of Sparta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
