Geanette 'May' Walker was born on July 26, 1958 to Eloise and Ernest Walker. Warrenton, GA was her home and she enjoyed the life God had given.  She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior at an early age and joined  Mount Moriah Baptist Church.

She parts this beloved earth to be with her son Sylvester Walker, brother Alonzo 'Leebo" Walker and her sister Annie pearl Battle. 

Geanette leaves to cherish her memory six children, Chris Walker, Rochelle Walker, Bobby Walker, Rick Walker, Germany Walker and Reggie (Jacquelyn) Walker; four brothers, Kenny Walker, Willie C. (Sarah) Walker, Ernest (Peggy) Walker Jr., E. H. (Denise) Walker; and five sisters, Estelle Walker, Ruby Walker, Janie Mae Walker, Elizabeth (James) Walker and Betty (Freddie) Robertson, twenty four grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Geanette was the neighborhood grandmother to many youth. She loved everyone, especially the children.  The majority of her time was spent making sure her children, grands, and great grands had everything they needed. She was a joy to be around and made sure you knew she loved you but would also tell you about your wrong doing. 

Geanette fought the good fight with all the strength she had until she was called home on August 28, 2017 at 8:00 pm. We know that she is now an angel and watching over all of us with a smile because suffering is no longer an option for her.
