Eugene Tucker Jr. was born September 27, 1951, to Mr. Eugene “Preacher” Tucker Sr. and Mrs. Rosa Tucker.
Eugene was a humorous and lovable person. He never met a stranger. He was known for his strong faith in Jehovah and stood firm until the very end. One of the momentous days of his life was on July 18, 1975, the day he symbolized his dedication to Jehovah God by getting baptized. He always had the pioneer spirit and wrote countless letters to the bereaved. He enjoyed traveling and witnessing with the cart, and spending long hours in the ministry until his health declined. Eugene was also known for his generous spirit, and he would help anyone in need. He will always be remembered for his infectious laugh, his love of good food, and spending time with family and friends. He was a dear friend and spiritual father to many.
Eugene was preceded in death by his sons Anthony Tucker and Tony Tucker, his father Eugene “Preacher” Tucker Sr., his father-in-law Willie Gordon Lundy, and mother-in-law Jennie Lundy.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his wife, of 52 years, Nellie Tucker: daughters, Angela (Jay) Jackson and Tonia Tucker; Mother Rosa Tucker; brother, Willie (Barbara) Tucker; sisters Annie Ruth Lundy, Judy Horton. Elaine Miner, Cheryl (Dwight) Smith, Patricia (David) Henderson, and Beretta (Roy) Hatcher, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, and other relatives and dear friends.
