Eddie Benjamin Pitts, Jr., affectionally known as “Man,” was born on August 28, 1975, to the late Mary Louise Pitts and Eddie Benjamin Pitts, Sr. During his tenure here, he enjoyed lavish cars and spending quality time with his family and friends. Eddie was employed with Bard Manufacturing Company in Madison, Georgia as an assembler. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as sibling, Tracy Pitts.
Survivors include: his loving wife, Michelle Pitts of Greensboro, Georgia; godparents, Doris and Larry Medlock of Warrenton, Georgia; his children, Tyler Pitts, Shantaniqua Watkins, Lebarrius Grable, all of Sparta, Georgia, Demarcus Peek, and Carmen Monfort of Greensboro, Georgia; grandchildren, Kayden Pitts and Bryston Grable of Sparta, Jaylen and Olivia Greene of Greensboro, Georgia; sisters, Sharon Leslie of Smyrna, Tennessee and Jennifer Pitts of Sparta, Georgia; god sisters, Amanda (Travis) Hill of Harlem, Georgia, Jaqualya Medlock, and Aquacious Medlock, all of Warrenton, Georgia; brother, Wendell Grier of Covington, Georgia; aunts, Brenda (Christopher) Wright of Ellenwood, Georgia, Viola Leslie of Augusta, Georgia, Jacqueline McCrary of Covington, Georgia, Viola Mealing of Augusta, Georgia, Mary Cooper, and Wylene King of Atlanta, Georgia; uncles, Charles Ficklin and Harvey Leslie of Sparta, Georgia; his best friend, Dwayne Robbins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members who loved him dearly.
