Demetrius D’Angelo “Boot” Neal was born on August 20, 1980 to Johnny Richardson and Debra Ann Neal. On October 4, 2017, the Lord called his Angel home at the University Hospital in Thomson, Georgia. Even though God saw fit to call Neal home at the age of 37, his assignment on Earth has been completed, and he is gone home to be with his eternal Father.
At an early age, Neal joined Sandy Grove Baptist Church in Mitchell, Georgia. He graduated from Washington County High School in 1998. He worked as an Inventory Control team member for 17 faithful years at Advance Auto Parts Distribution Center in Thomson, Georgia. “Boot” was a loyal friend and “counselor” to all of his loved ones. He was dedicated to his customers, providing them with the best quality movies and great music all over the CSRA. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, playing video games with his nephews, and spending time with his family, especially his children.
He was preceded in death his grandfathers, Edison Richardson and Melvin McCullers, brother, Johnny “Tego” Richardson Jr., uncles, Bishop Willie B. McCullers, Deacon Melvin Neal, Charles Russell, and one aunt, Lizzie Pearl Latimer.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, two beautiful daughters, Aubrey Neal and Austyn Neal; two Goddaughters, RaiJaneak Lane and Tamesha Hatcher; one Godson, Astyn (AJ) Richardson, four stepsons, Ja’Quez Lott, Tervon Myers, Tyreke Myers, and Quinton Ward; two sisters, Yolanda Richardson and Nawanda Hatcher; six brothers, Antonio Richardson, Deacon Tavaris (Whitley) Neal, Charvis “Puddin” Lawrence, Steve Gladdin, Carlos (Kristin) Jones, and Ricky Veasley, two loving grandparents, Daisy (Wyman) Murray and Carrie Bell (Edison) Richardson; three aunts, Lucinda (Hulon) Hamilton, Brenda (Charles) Russell, and Naomi Seals; five uncles, Danny Tucker, Derrick Murray, Walt (Shanda) Murray, Edison Richardson Jr., and Arthur Willie Richardson; the mother of his beautiful daughters and friend, Nasharo Lowe; his special friend, Evet “Pumpkin” Myers; a devoted cousin, Chris Latimer; two devoted friends, Timothy (Greta) Hatcher and Anita Bradley (Master Barber), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
