On Monday night 9 September 2019 at 11:18 pm, God dispatched his angel to summon Dea. Edgar Hillman to surrender his passport and follow him to heaven. He accepted the offer and obeyed.
Edgar was born to Oscar and Julia Hillman in Warrenton, GA on 23 February 1942. He gave his life to Christ at an early age. All of his life, salvation was his main interest and his family was second.
Dea. Hillman taught Sunday School for 51 years, he also did Nursing Home Ministry at Warrenton Rehabilitation for 18 years.
His hobbies include hunting, fishing, helping others, taking care of widows and senior citizens, gardening, sharing the produce of his garden, and being a servant to others. Dea. Hillman touched many people hearts and showed kindness and respect. He always wanted to be an example of Christ.
As the angels bid him to follow them, He leaves to cherish his memories of his spiritually strong wife of 52 ½ years Lola, three children Quincy, Charres, and Candice. He has two grandsons, Quincy Leon II, Elijah Bryce, Sisters, Brothers, nieces, nephews, In-laws, and a host of friends.
