Daisy Mae Morris returned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 22nd after a brief illness.  Her devotion to family and a firm belief in God supported her in this struggle and gave her peace.

Daisy was born to the late William and Sarah Copeland.  She was a homemaker.  She was loved and cared for by her devoted children and was blessed with a very loving family.  She married her best friend, the late Dillard Morris, Sr. in Sparta, Georgia and raised four children.

Daisy was a kind, soft spoken and loving person.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Morris and two brothers, William Bill Copeland, Jr. and Willie Wright Copeland, Sr.

Daisy is survived by her four children, a devoted son, Dillard (Katina) Morris, Jr. of Milledgeville, GA, loving daughters, Brenda Harper, Jenise (Brian) Marion, and Edith (Billy) Strother all of Sparta, GA; a host of grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Wyette (Jimmy) Barnes, Ethel Lewis and JT, Bobbie Morris; one brother, Jerry (Carol) Lewis; brother-in-law, Eddie Morris; two sisters-in-law, Lizzie Copeland of Atlanta, GA, and Louise Copeland.
