Christine Kitchens was born on December 27, 1930, in Hancock County, to the late Mr. Willie Bowell Tucker and Mrs. Rosetta Cummings Tucker.
Christine graciously transitioned to eternity on Friday, August 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by one son, Rene Kitchens, Jr., one daughter, Shirley Ann Kitchens, one grandson, Christopher Kitchens, four brother, her twin, Eugene Tucker, John Willie Tucker, George Tucker, Louis Tucker, and two sisters, Rosetta Brookins, and Lena McClin.
Christine accepted Christ at an early age. She has a passion for quilting, sewing, fishing, painting, cooking, and getting her family together. She worked hard as a housekeeper until her health declined. No matter what she put her heart to she had faith that it was going to go as plan.
She leaves to cherish her memories to one son, Willie (Linda) Kitchens, five daughter, Lois (Willie) Macklin, Annie (Joseph) Kemp, Ruby (Ezell) Bundrage, all of Sparta, Georgia, Willie Alma (Robert) Lawson of Eatonton, Georgia daughter-in-law Annie Mae Kitchens of Sparta, Georgia. Three grandchildren she raised (one preceded in death), Bernard (Brenda) Kitchens of Sparta, Georgia, and Bennie (Aretha Renee) Kitchens of Covington, Georgia. Two sisters, Willie Mae Taylor of Philadelphia, PA and Bessie Mae Palmer of Sparta, Georgia. Two sister-in-law, Alice Tucker and Rosa W. Tucker of Sparta Georgia. Twenty-seven grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family member and friends.
