Brenda Mae Rivers

Brenda Rivers was born to the union of Mr. George Washington Rivers and Mrs. Hattie Mae Rivers on March 8, 1955, in Warren County, Georgia. She departed this life on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Piedmont McDuffie Hospital in Thomson, Georgia.

Brenda loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed attending church and hearing God’s Word. She was a great mother, a loving, devoted grandmother, and a caring sister. She checked on her siblings regularly. It was a delight to hear her voice on the other end. Her phone calls will be greatly missed.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hattie Mae Rivers; four brothers, Bobby Rivers, John Rivers, George Rivers, and Leonard Rivers; and sister-in-law, Hattie Bell Rivers. Brenda will be dearly missed by her daughter, Linda Rivers; son, Terry Rivers; brothers, Lewis Rivers, Robert Rivers, and Jerry Rivers; wonderful grandson, Terrance Rivers; sister, Daisy (Larry) Jackson; three sisters-in-law, Laura Williams, Robin Bonner, and Lois Bell Burnette; four brothers-in-law, Melvin Shanks, Frank (Carolyn) Williams, Jimmy Williams, and Ronnie Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.
