Ms. Barbara Ann Chapple, 57, entered eternal rest on December 4, 2021, after an extended illness. She was born on April 2, 1964, to the parentage of Katie and the late Lucilus Chapple.
At an early age she joined Union Baptist Church of Mayfield, Georgia, where she served faithfully on the Usher Board with her fellow ushers.
Barbara was employed by Rheem Mfg. for 26 years until the company closed and relocated. She was also employed by Saint Gobain and Real Deal Food Mart of Sparta, Georgia until her health failed her.
“Barb” was a quiet fun-loving person who loved to bake and spoil her only grandson. She was affectionately known as the “Caramel Cake Lady” by all her customers.
Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonisa “Ne-Ne” Chapple.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a daughter, Makacha Chapple; a grandson, Tristan D. Mayweather of Covington, Georgia; mother, Katie Chapple; two sisters, Patricia Chapple
and Gloria (Charles) Teemer; one brother, Mario (Tokisha) Chapple, all of Sparta, Georgia; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and special friends, Ernestine Lawson and
Joann Williams.
